Longhorn Fab Shop 1-1/8"-7 Weld-In Bungs Set of 4
If you're building your own traction bars, suspension links, or custom fabrication project, these Longhorn Fab Shop 1-1/8"-7 Weld-In Bungs give you the threaded connection points needed to build a strong, adjustable setup. They are designed to work with Longhorn Fab Shop mid-grade rod ends and other 1-1/8"-7 threaded rod ends, making them a useful option for custom builds and repairs.
This set includes two left-hand thread weld-in bungs with matching jam nuts and two right-hand thread weld-in bungs with matching jam nuts. The left-hand bungs have a grooved ring, so they are easy to identify during installation. These bungs fit 1.5" Schedule 40 A36 structural pipe or tubing with an inside diameter larger than 1.590" and an outside diameter smaller than 2.250". For traction bar applications, recommended pipe length is 63.5" for short-bed trucks or 77.5" for long-bed trucks.
Each bung has a 2" overall diameter, with a 1.580" diameter section that slips into the tube or pipe for welding. These bungs are also commonly used with Category 1 3-point top link applications, making them a versatile choice for fabrication projects that use 1-1/8"-7 threaded rod ends.
